Everyone has a certain level of stress and wounds related with parents. Parents can get angry and even display violent behaviors toward children.
For example, mothers may activate the unconscious to treat her own wounds and express negatively toward children since they are in a closest relationship with her.
She can express her negative feelings toward her husband, but when she cannot get attention and consolation from her husband, the children's father in most cases, she may express her wounds toward children.
People express by activating the unconscious in close relationships. Since it is the operation of the unconscious, she may not realize what she is doing and why she acts that way. In this process, children perceive through the conscious instead of the unconscious, so they remember every harsh word and every action she used in the conscious. They may conclude that their mother doesn't like them. They may want to leave home.
