Women pursue meanings of life and men pursue values of life when pursuing self-actualization. Runaway teenage boys who are pursuing

self-actualization also pursue values of life but they don't have many options since they have not formed thought standards, self-identity,

and abilities for self-actualization. Then, they are easily exposed to crimes and get involved int damaging other people to achieve their goals.

Runaway teenage girls pursue meanings without having formed thought standards, self-identity, so they are easily exposed to situations

that involve activation of sexuality.

Teenagers run away from home because parents do not adopt adequate parenting. When parents do not

protect children and give up on proper parenting, children cannot but run away from home to survive and they are exposed to diverse

undesirable situations pursuing self-actualization in their own way. Runaway teenagers naturally develop more stress and wounds in

mimind as well as all kinds of conflicts than teenagers who are adequately protected and nurtured. Pursuing self-actualization without

having formed self-identity necessarily induce conflicts inside oneself and with other people. Girls develop severe wounds in mimind

and boys live under great stress. Then, they are more likely to develop psychological disorders even before they become adults then

teenagers who are protected and nurtured by parents.
